A Chance (PRIVATE Yuuki, Killian)

Killian was currently tailing somebody. He was waiting for the person to show if he was rich or not. If he was rich, he had guards. If not, then no he didnt. So Killian had been tailing him for days. He stopped when the man stopped and walked when the man walked. Killian had been behind the man for four hours today. The man had woken up at 4:30 in the morning and took 3 hours to get everything ready to go. Killian grew bored and appear behind the man. As soon as Killian’s feet touched the ground, the man punched Killian’s chest. It did nothing. This was a simple rich man who had done no work his entire life and wasnt very strong at all. Killian snapped the mans neck in seconds. Killian looked for ID on the man and found none. He only found a wallet. Killian looked inside and saw about fifty dollars inside. Wasnt a lot. Killian heard the crunch of boots and jumped into a tree. Killian then heard the boots start running. Killian waited a few seconds and saw three guards. They stared silently at their charge for a few seconds before looking around. They each pulled out a Beretta ARX 160. Killian waited for one to get near him. Killian then saw them all shoot three bullets at the man. ”Well I guess their not his guards then” Killian thought. Killian appeared behind one and stabbed through his head. He the sliced through the head and cut of another’s neck. The last one began to shoot at him and hit him with a bullet to the shoulder. But before a second bullet could come out of the gun, Killian sliced through the gun. He then cut of the soldiers arms and bit his neck. He drained the man clean out of blood. THEN Killian stabbed the persons heart. Killian checked the three bodies and found no way of knowing where they came from, who they were, what they wanted, or even if anybody sent them. Killian honestly didnt care because no one could link him to anything. He turned into his Wat and ran off into the deep forest.

Yuuki was floating casually through the forest, hands in her pocket. She had just finished a couple missions and had gotten her reward, and was just about to head home. Taking a deep breath, she sighed. That last job had been rather troublesome. She didn't want to go into details, but it involved a rather... unpleasant boss. She suddenly heard rustling, and a.... thing appeared from within the woods.

Killian almost ran past the woman, but something stopped him. She smelled different. Something reptilian, robotic, draconic, and many other things. It made him stumble and trip onto his face. He rolled onto his side and shifted. He really didnt care how people reacted to it. He looked at the woman, waiting for the response.

Yuuki stepped off of her hoverboard cautiously, and reverted it back into its communication ear device thing form. What was that thing in front of her? It was like a hybrid of a wolf and a bat--would that be called a wat? A bolf?--with a wolf's body, and a bat's face and wings. It suddenly seemed to trip and skid to a halt right in front of her, before it rolled back onto its feet and stared at her. Ok then... what exactly was Yuuki even supposed to say? Just hi? She crossed her arms, still keeping up her emotionless facade. "Hello," she said shortly. "Do you need something?"

Killian stared at the woman. He smelled so many things it disoriented him. He had to focus on one thing so he focused on the sight of the woman. Killian heard he talk and almost cracked a smile. ”Hmmm. Do I? Let me think…. Maybe. Do you know why you smell so much?" No he didnt know how offensive that sounded.

Yuuki stared at the creature, confused. Smell so much? She couldn't exactly smell anything, except for the shampoo that she had recently used yesterday.... and it wasn't even supposed to make her smell good or anything. Maybe it was from hanging around her teammates so much? Some of her members did have a heightened sense of smell, so it wasn't strange that other creatures would have that too. "What do you mean? What exactly do I smell like?"

Killian sneezed and shook his head. Killian stared at the lady and changed into his human form. ”You smell like dragons, robots, some sort of reptile that ive never smelled before, slightly wolfish, and something else that i cant quite tell… And i smell a hint of shampoo…" No Killian did not realized how that sounded either.

Yuuki stepped back a bit when the bat-wolf thing shifted into a human form. Tall, with dark hair, dressed in light-weight clothing. He looked like an assassin or ninja of some sort. Dragons, robots, some sort of reptile, and wolf.... That was the smell of some of her teammates. "You must be thinking of my teammates then," she finally said. "Who are you? Are you a shapeshifter?"

Killian smiled now. He shook his head. ”Nah, Im much worse. Im Killian. What is your name?" Killian sat down and watched the woman intently.

Yuuki leaned against the tree, her hand itching to reach for her pistols that were strapped to her thighs, but she fought the urge. "My name is Yuuki. If you're not a shapeshifter, then what are you?" The man in front of her slightly unnerved her; she had never felt any kind of aura like his before... there was something familiar, yet something so strange about it...

Killian’s smile dropped for a second. He the smell he couldnt plac earlier was slowly starting to be recognized. He smiled again and waggled his finger. ”Now, now! We have to take the relationship slow! If we go too fast it could end badly." Killian smiled bigger, a fake joy in his eyes.

Yuuki narrowed her eyes at his falsely cheerful tune. She had dealt with enough liars, thieves and other people to know that he wasn't being all that truthful. His smile seemed genuine enough, but his eyes didn't hold the.. the "light" that genuinely happy people held. She noticed when his smile dropped for such a split second that if she hadn't been watching carefully, she would have missed it. "Who said I was interested in any kind of relationship with you? What is it? You're faking your smile." No, it wasn't a question. It was a demand. He would understand the hidden meaning to answer her.

Killian dropped his smile. ”Nothing else is for your knowledge…" He smiled again, but dropped t quickly. ”Now ill tell you anything else, if i decide to." Killian put out his hand for a handshake. He almost glared at the woman.

Yuuki just kept her face blank, but carefully searching for a change in emotion in the man's face. "Hm. If that's what you want." She shook his hand.

Killian looked around. He was probably showing fear on his face, but he thought he saw a shadow that was a little to familiar. He had his sword out in seconds and lashed out at a tree branch. There was nothing there but a squirrel. Killian put his sword away and looked back at Yuuki. ”Sorry about that, I thought i saw something…" Killian walked next to Yuuki and tried to put his hand on her shoulder.

Yuuki watched, interested, as the man--no, Killian--looked rather afraid of something, and lashed out at a branch. Only a squirrel. He was definitely paranoid, but it had to have been something in his past. That was one of the only ways a person COULD become this paranoid. Although Arik was paranoid on a daily basis, and that was just his personality...... but you know. She stiffened when she saw him move to rest his hand on her shoulder. She backed away and crossed her arms. "No touching," she warned, eyes a steely gray with a hard glint.

Killian raised his hands and put them in front of him. ”Okay no touching… What about hugging?" Killian went forward and went to hug her. He had a big smile on his face and he was glancing around.

Yuuki held up a hand, stopping the man from advancing any further. "No touching whatsoever," she snapped as she glared darkly at Killian. He seemed nervous.. why was that? Was it something about her? It couldn't be; she'd never met this man before in her life...

Killian stopped. He pouted when she said no touching. ”But why? Thats weird. Who doesnt like to be hugged?" He had a huge frown on his face.
